Pete Privateer joined Reflex Systems with more than twenty-five years of senior leadership experience in the industry. Privateer previously held executive positions at many security technology companies. He was vice president of sales, for the ISS division of IBM and senior vice president of worldwide marketing and product management for ISS prior to its acquisition by IBM. He served as president and CEO at Intrusic, a venture-backed Internet security software/appliance company and Pelican Security, where he was responsible for overall strategy and operations of the company. As co-founder and senior vice president of operations for Axent Technologies, one of the first Internet security software companies, he successfully helped lead the company from start-up to successful IPO prior to its sale to Symantec.
Hezi Moore, the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Reflex Systems, brings more than 15 years experience in security, networking and entrepreneurial expertise to Reflex Systems. In his role of CTO, he is responsible for shaping the company's technology strategy and defining the roadmap for future design and development of innovative, integrated network security solutions and delivering them to market. Moore led the effort to develop the industry's first Virtual Security Appliance (VSA) that provides visibility and security for virtual network infrastructure.
Prior to founding Reflex Systems, Moore was president and co-founder of MicroTech Systems - a firm specializing in network design and configuration of point-of-sale systems - which was subsequently acquired by Retail Technologies International of Sacramento, California. He has also held such diverse occupations as a technical support and research analyst for GE Technology. Moore was a pioneer of the automated network intrusion response system, the concept out of which Reflex Systems grew.
Hezi graduated with Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
David de Valk joined Reflex Systems with more than 15 years of leadership and management, partner and channel development experience working with technology companies spanning across high tech startups to large enterprises. As VP of Business Development, he leads Reflex Systems' strategic partnerships and business relationships. Before joining Reflex, de Valk served as Vice President of Customer Service and Business Systems at Fortinet, Inc.. Prior to Fortinet, he spent several years developing several early stage start-ups. He spent 10 years in various Customer Service and Support roles at U.S. Robotics and 3Com including leading Palm's Worldwide Customer Service Organization during Palm's 2001 IPO.
Aaron Bawcom joined Reflex as Vice President of Engineering in September of 2007. Bawcom is responsible for the development of products bringing more than 10 years of engineering management experience to the company. Prior to joining Reflex Systems, he was the Chief Technology Officer of Intrusion Inc. and the Chief Architect for the Network Associates network security products division. Throughout his career Bawcom has designed Virtualization Management and Security Systems, Host & Network Virus Detection, Stateful Firewalls, E-Mail Encryption, Application Firewalls, Security Information Management Systems, Vulnerability Assessment, Network & Host Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Enterprise Spyware Prevention, Behavioral Anomaly, Distributed Denial of Service Prevention, Network Processors, and Data Leak Prevention Systems. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
Mike Wronski brings more than10 years of industry experience to his role as VP of Product Management for Reflex Systems. Prior to joining Reflex he held a senior information security system architect role at GE Healthcare Information Technologies, where he led a global security team in winning and deploying a $500M contract with the UK National Healthcare System. Wronski previously also held senior roles at Starent Networks, Cambia Networks, 3Com and USRobotics. Wronski holds CISSP and certified ethical hacker certifications, as well as an MBA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Florida International University.
